Solar Systems For Navigation Aids
To reach 13nm+ visibility, WelandSignalTM tailor solar system for buoys by selecting leading solar components to fit in different conditions, our DC navigation lanterns use No.2407 Polycarbonate lens made by Bayer which is anti-UV, waterproof and shock resistance. The whole system are proved to have stable performance with no maintenance at 5-year warranty, 10 years life longer.
Visibility required for different condition are ruled clearly in IALA.

NOTE:

Year-round, unrestricted solar exposure is critical to long-term performance. Shade dramatically reduces the ability of the light to charge its battery.

	Solar Panel The harsh conditions at sea can damage conventional solar panels and shorten their lifetime substantially. We use specially sealed panels and materials to ensure system longevity. Our solar buoy navigation systems are available separately or in combination with Lanterns.
Solar Battery AGM GEL BATTERY IC Series PVC GEL battery is used rather than AGM type for its high performance in extreme low temperature environments. We cooperate with the biggest factory in China and adjust some data according to our light features. PVC materials imported from German improves charging and discharging ability with 50% at -50 ℃. This helps our lanterns for marine reach to 10 years’ service life without maintenance.
Lithium Battery Working with electronics in the tropical marine environment is a challenge. We, therefor, searched for high-quality components, subjected them to tress testing and selected only the suitable type for our system. We learn and choose lithium battery according application environments. We use NCM lithium battery instead of LiFePO4 which is suit for hot area for marine with heating system starts automatically designed on BMS. Our lanterns have a lifetime of around 10 years.
	Controller OEM in Lumiax, the famous controller factory in China, all detailed data are designed following customers’ requirements. We use the most advanced MPPT technology, Japan made electronic components to make sure its durability, the tracking efficiency ＞99.9% and waterproof . It makes our system generate maximum solar power 30% more than ordinary charge controllers. It combines solar charge controller and LED constant current driver into one unit which is ideal for solar LED Street light, especially when dimming function is needed.

DC Lanterns
All lanterns made by WelandSignalTM use optical lens special for LED. Polycarbonate material from Bayer, German which is Anti-UV, shock resistance, salt-resistance and waterproof. GSM,GPS,AIS can be fixed if required. From 1nm to 20nm, all lanterns offers 3years warranty at least and service up to 10 years life.
